Waiting on Wednesday - Kiss the Dead

"Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by Jill @ Breaking the Spine that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.
Just what I need, right??  More temptation to buy more books? :)
Bring it on!
My pick for this week will be in my mailbox next Tuesday bc I have it on my Amazon auto ship list :)
Don't bother me next Tuesday bc I probably won't be coming up for air...I've been waiting on this book since I closed the cover of Hamilton's last, Hit List :)

From Amazon:
June 5, 2012 Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter (Book 21)
When a fifteen-year-old girl is abducted by vampires, it’s up to U.S. Marshal Anita Blake to find her. And when she does, she’s faced with something she’s never seen before: a terrifyingly ordinary group of people—kids, grandparents, soccer moms—all recently turned and willing to die to avoid serving a master. And where there’s one martyr, there will be more…
But even vampires have monsters that they’re afraid of. And Anita is one of them…

SHIVERS!!!!
WHAT ARE YOU WAITING ON??

  1. My mom is absolutely hooked on these books, so I will have to let her know that this one is on its way! She will be so excited!

  2. I haven't read an Anita Blake novel in so long. I think I quit reading 3 or 4 books ago. This particular installment sounds great though and I'm tempted to catch up on the series!

    1. Hamilton did hit a couple of not so great ones a few books back and I almost quit as well...I don't like the little short ones she puts out in the middle of the bigger ones :p I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this will be a really good one! :)

  3. Confession, I love vampire books. I have the Twilight series hidden under my bed so my kids don't see it. My sons would never let me live that one down. Now I have another book to buy and hide. Thanks. ;)

  4. I have not been taken in by this series (I have my own series obsessions...I need more like I need a lobotomy! Haha!) but I am totally entertained by your excitement. Isn't it great to be so jacked up over a book release???

  5. Ha! I love a good series and get incredibly upset/irritated when they hit a bad spot (as they all inevitably do)...this one is a guilty pleasure of mine, and Hamilton's character, Jean Claude (vampire or no vampire) is my swoony book boyfriend...and I don't usually have that kind of reaction to a character. Hamilton teased us in the last book that Jean Claude would have a lot of attention in Kiss the Dead so that's probably why I'm so excited (blushing) :)
