Saturday Snapshot

Last Saturday, before the evil virus set in on Sunday, we visited with my brother, his wife and their little boy. I haven't seen him in over a year so I was excited about finally getting to spend some time with him!  Of course the poor children felt like celebrities surrounded by papparazzi before the day was over, even though they took it in stride like the champ children of today's mommy's photographers seem to be doing :)

Of all the photos we took, these are my favorites:

My little nephew attached himself to my youngest...I guess she was the closest person to his size and he immediately was drawn to her.
Both of the pics above were taken with my Iphone and were "polished" with Instagram layers :)

One of my sister-in-law's favorite photos was this one.  In fact, she changed her FB cover to this picture :)

This photo was also taken with my Iphone but "tweaked" with a different app called Filter Mania :)

Love my Iphone and its fabulous photo apps :)

Snapshot Saturday is hosted by Alyce over at At Home with Books.

    1. We have bunches of pics from the day and we never delete hardly any bc there are so many memories embedded in even the photos that aren't "frame worthy" :) I love looking at them over and over :)

  2. We had one of those wagons when the kids were little. So so sweet. Makes me even a little sad! I love the effects on the pictures...going to have to experiment.

  5. I love those photos! I'm glad you had a chance to visit family and catch up. I'm learning quickly that life is short and I must make more time for my extended family.

    1. I thought that vintage layer went well with the wagon and all :)I think the apps can add warmth to a good picture...I don't like them so much when people like to change the pics or make it something it's not supposed to be. I don't want to lose the original...kinda like how women apply make-up :)

    1. The first two involve my own child as well, so I may be a little bias ;) but I love them! :)

  11. I just love how the pics have a vintage feel. Isn't it amazing what we can do with our cell phones these days? Do you remember those big clunky ones we carried around years ago? Makes you wonder what it will be like ten years from now!

    1. LOL! I've been cleaning the last couple of weeks and found one of our very first cell phones in a drawer. I showed it to my oldest daughter and she just about fell on the floor laughing. It felt so funny in my hands too!

  14. The children are beautiful! They make great models and you take terrific pictures. I love to take photos too and play with them on my laptop. It's so nice to be able to fine tune them and it's so easy now as well!

I hope you all had a wonderful family visit! :)
