Snapshot Saturday - A Day at the Pumpkin Patch

The annual pumpkin patch trip is one of my favorites :)
And, this year to make it even more special, we were somehow able to coordinate everyone's schedules so that we went as a family...all 5 of us.
A wonderful afternoon :):)

The youngest, hamming it up with some spectacular sunflowers

My firstborn...sunflowers...I love this shot! Instagram is fabulous!!

The youngest and the middle daughter...and a new friend

Gotta have a funnel cake and lemonade at the pumpkin patch...and yes, I did sneak a sip or two and bit or two of the middle daughter's snacks :)
It's the pumpkin patch, people!

The firstborn looks right at home in the teepee entrance, doesn't she?

Ahhhhh, the rope swing...pure bliss for the youngest.

Riding on the big wagon...the firstborn, the youngest, and middle daughter.

The last stop before heading home...the pumpkin selection...so many choices...

I got mine!

Me too!!!

Waiting for Daddy to bring the car around...not the greatest picture in the world but these are fewer and far between the older they get.

Great memories!

  2. Sounds like y'all had a wonderful trip. I was half-expecting to see pics of your dog tucked in there, too.

    1. We've had a few cool days but we've had some years where we're still wearing shorts and short sleeves at Thanksgiving :)

  6. Doesn't happen all that often anymore so it's even that much more special when it happens

  7. Mine could care less about the pumpkin patch these days. If we had the time, they might emerge to do the corn maze, but we rarely have that kind of time on the weekends in October. I love these...I can imagine that you will cherish them.

    1. The youngest and I planned the trip. We told the "big girls" in hopes that they "wouldn't have anything better to do," and somehow the stars aligned and it all fell into place. We didnt get there as early as we planned and for a couple of hours I didn't think it was going to happen at all. Magically, the husband said, "Let's go!" and we just threw on our shoes and went! Great Day!!

  10. We usually just get our pumpkins from the farmer's market but this looks so fun I'll have to find a pumpkin patch with all these fun activities-Groovy Girl would love it.
