Where Did Summer Go?

Just in case you've been wondering...

No need to worry about where I've been.
K?

:)

We are home from the beach, and the youngest started school this morning.
I'll be back with a bunch of randomness tomorrow :)

Till then...

    1. Ha!! I've put up quite a few tomatoes this summer...I'll pick up more today at the farmer's market. Never get tired of fresh veggies!! Especially in the dark, cold days of winter!

  5. Our school starts next Tuesday, praise Jesus. And it is crazy since I am 45 minutes from the beach and have only been ONCE this whole summer.

    1. Yes, that's crazy, Sandy. But, the places closest to us tend to be the least visited for some reason :( The only thing I look forward to is a more rigid schedule...but after about 2 weeks, I'll be ready for the laid back days of summer again.

  6. Wait, started school THIS MORNING? that's crazy. I forget how early the Southern schools go back in the fall, now that I live in New England.

    How was the beach?

    1. The beach was fantastic! We were only able to go for a short trip bc of crazy schedules, but next summer should be better. The state of Mississippi is changing the school calendar starting next year so hopefully the kids won't have to go back so soon. We're dealing with intense heat and humidity right now, which is normal of course, but really the kids should not be on buses, on athletic practice fields etc. Just too dangerous.
