I have so enjoyed looking at everyone's Easter pictures all week on Facebook. Even the scrappiest folks look good on Easter Sunday :) I think it's the first taste of sunshine and the promise of Springtime.
We usually spend Easter at my mom's, and this year was no exception. Layla was allowed to visit my mom's for the first time...and promptly pooed on the floor within the first 15 minutes of arrival :/ In her defense, it was the longest car ride she's ever been on...who knows how long she'd been holding it :(
Anyhoo, after the poo was cleaned up and Layla was allowed to live, we did enjoy the weekend and ended up with these fine photos Sunday afternoon.
From left to right: the youngest, Layla, the firstborn, Lizzie, the middle daughter.
Lizzie and my middle daughter (how bout those dimples, folks?)

I so hope others are sharing Easter pics today!! :)
Snapshot Saturday is hosted by Alyce @ At Home with Books
Very cute girls and dogs :-)
ReplyDeleteVery cute shots of the girls and dogs...and the dimples! Thanks for sharing, and enjoy!
ReplyDeleteHere's
MY SATURDAY SNAPSHOT
What beautiful family photos!
ReplyDeleteWow, a family of beauties, both lovely ladies and lovely doggies!
ReplyDeleteGreat family photos! The dogs look very happy to be part of the family too :)
ReplyDeleteYou look as young as your oldest daughter! It had been hot as blazes here up until Easter day, which was cold.
ReplyDeleteEveryone looks great dressed up! And poor Layla, she must have been embarrassed to have to go on the floor...
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice sunny Easter you had! Sunny faces, too!
ReplyDeleteYour daughters are so beautiful and so are you!
ReplyDeleteHere is my Saturday Snapshot post!
For reals, I don't want to sound like I'm sucking up, but you could so be your daughters' sister! Y'all look lovely anyway :)
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely photos! You and your daughters have the same great smiles.
ReplyDeleteLayla is gorgeous. Happy Easter.
ReplyDeleteYou and your middle daughter look so much alike - I did a double take!
ReplyDeleteLove all of the pictures! You have a gorgeous family (human and furry). I love how, in the third picture, Lizzie got a paw in the frame!
ReplyDeleteThat's what we forgot last Sunday. Easter pictures. Well, my teenage boys didn't clean up nearly as well as your beautiful daughters. Here's Mine
ReplyDeleteLovely girls and mom and pooches.
ReplyDeleteWhat a funny story that will make in years to come. All of the girls look beautiful!
ReplyDeleteIt wasn't funny when it happened, Alyce...but it's hilarious now! Thanks :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Diane :)
ReplyDeleteIt's a tradition for us...the girls usually enjoy it as much as I do :)
ReplyDeleteLizzie usually holds on for dear life most of the time...she's pretty timid and our chaos sometimes overwhelms her, I think :)
ReplyDeleteHa! Thanks...she looks a lot like my mom's side of the family and so do I. The older she gets, the more I think she favors me when I was her age...although I've always had dark brown hair and hers has always been blonde. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks! :)
ReplyDeleteAw, thanks! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks!! At 43, I've learned to take compliments as they come..."sucking up" or not ;)
ReplyDeleteThanks! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm sooooo loving the sunshine after our rainy, chilly winter :)
ReplyDeleteGREAt pics! You all look lovely, and it looks like Easter was a beautiful day there!
ReplyDeleteI know she was, Sam bc she NEVER does that at home. She potty trained quickly and even knows to "ring the bell" hanging on the doorknob if no one is paying attention. I didn't punish her; blamed myself for not giving her more time outside when we first got there.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Kathy! :) We've enjoyed some incredible weather here lately. I'm worried though that our summer will be unbearable since we never really had a cold winter.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Trish! :) We wouldn't have it any other way :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Kay! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks!! :)
ReplyDeleteMiddle daughter has had dimples since the day she was born...we have no idea where they came from but they are precious to me :)
ReplyDeleteThanks! :)
ReplyDeleteAwwww, poor Layla. She looks too sweet to stay mad at. And everyone does look so sunny and happy. Spring will definitely do that for me.
ReplyDeleteYou're all so gorgeous!! And poor Layla … not quite the way to get another invitation!
ReplyDeleteA gorgeous day, Andi! Thanks! :)
ReplyDeleteI don't even think my mom was mad...just worried that we were going to have a rough weekend....thankfully we didn't though!! :)
ReplyDeleteI worried about that, Jenners :( When you're a German Shepherd, your pile of poo is not exactly easy to overlook :p
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures, and I am laughing about the dog!!
ReplyDeleteYou all look lovely!
ReplyDeleteWe had our dog at my MIL's house and she was good. She didn't have any accidents but of course, we watched her like a hawk. She did better there than she does at home!
Everyone is suddenly cute, aren't they? I think it's the summery clothes and peak of sunshine, maybe. Who knows... Easter does liven up life!!!
ReplyDeleteThx for hoppin' by my Sat!!!
Those dogs are so cute!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog last Saturday!
