Happy New Year to you, my friend. I have just finished up my serving of black-eyed peas. My sweet yankee husband had never heard of such a thing until I introduced him to it. Tonight, I made both of his kids eat peas and cornbread with us so they would have luck and prosperity this year. I sure hope my other kids had a little too :)
Happy New Year to you as well!

ReplyDeleteBlack-eyed peas, huh? I was not aware of this tradition. Can cauliflower count instead? This is what I had for dinner tonight. lol :-)
